Joy. Visibility. Action. A Collab That Puts Black Women First

At Spectrum, we make products and experiences that celebrate and uplift Black women. Our mission has always been about turning everyday moments into opportunities for awareness, self-care, and connection. We know we're stronger together, and partnerships are a way to make that impact even bigger.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re proud to introduce Scratch Out Cancer:  a collaboration based in joy, powered by purpose, and designed to uplift Black women in the most meaningful way.

We’ve teamed up with two incredible partners to bring this vision to life. Scratch Out Loud, a Black-owned DJ collective known for its immersive vinyl experiences, brings the energy, intimacy, and connection that only music can create. And I Will Survive, Inc., a nonprofit based in Atlanta, provides vital support for Black women navigating the realities of breast cancer. From transportation to treatment and financial assistance to survivor advocacy, they are a trusted source of care, education, and empowerment in our community.

Together, we’re inviting you to sip with intention, celebrate with heart, and support a mission that matters. Our Scratch Out Cancer experience for two includes a private vinyl DJ session curated by Scratch Out Loud, a set of our limited-edition pink Zuzu Champagne Flutes, and all the curated vibes you’d expect from an elevated Spectrum moment. It’s the kind of joyful self-care that also gives back, because 6% of every package purchased goes directly to I Will Survive, Inc., helping fund real-time resources and life-saving programs for Black women affected by breast cancer.

This campaign is more than an awareness effort. It’s a response to an urgent need. Black women are 40% more likely to die from breast cancer than white women, even though incidence rates are similar. The reasons run deep: delayed diagnoses, systemic medical racism, and barriers to quality care continue to shape these outcomes. These disparities aren’t new, but too often, they’re ignored in mainstream conversations about breast cancer.

That’s why we created Scratch Out Cancer. To make space for joy, yes, but also to take action. To raise a glass and raise the volume on conversations that center Black women’s health. When we show up for each other with intention, small acts become part of something much bigger.

At Spectrum, our mission is to celebrate and uplift Black women, and this collaboration is an invitation to do just that. Whether you book the experience for yourself or as a gift, you're helping fund local, Black-led solutions that make a tangible difference.
