Beyond October: Keeping Breast Cancer Awareness Alive Year-Round
As we step into November, it’s impossible not to reflect on the whirlwind of pink ribbons and campaigns that defined October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. While the spotlight dims after October, the need for awareness and action remains urgent—especially for Black women, who face higher mortality rates and persistent disparities in treatment and diagnosis.
For survivors and their families, breast cancer is not confined to a single month. It’s a lifetime journey, filled with challenges that deserve year-round visibility and support. Conversations about equity in healthcare and the importance of early detection need to continue, even after the pink fades.
At Spectrum Glassware, we’re committed to keeping these critical conversations alive. Our mission extends beyond glassware; it’s about creating a platform for change, celebrating joy, and supporting the health of Black women everywhere.
Let’s remember: breast cancer awareness is a marathon, not a sprint. Together, let's make every month matter.
